THE INFLUENCE behind Lizz Greer's journey into artisan rugs can be traced to the late 1970s, when she studied art from the acclaimed Robert Brackman. It was under his tutelage that Lizz Greer laid the groundwork for her artistic path. During this time, Lizz Greer discovered a passion and vision for color and composition that would lead her through an enormously successful artistic career.

WITH DEGREES from the Philadelphia College of Art (currently University of the Arts), Syracuse University, and The University of California Berkeley, Lizz Greer began a twenty-plus year artistic career that has included the distinctions of industrial design firm owner, and art director. Through the past two decades, admirers of Lizz Greer have noted

her uncommon ability to infuse art into everyday objects. Through every field of art she's explored, Lizz Greer has consistently demonstrated a passion and vision for illustration and art and has used that to transform everyday products into artful objects. It was this very passion, combined with over 20 years of artistic study and experience which led to the creation of Lizz Greer's unique artisan rugs. Her artisan rug illustrations are considered "art for the floor" and have quickly proven to be one of the most exciting and unique forms of art in the current landscape. Lizz Greer artisan rugs are ideal for the discriminating homeowner who values thoughtful and reflective environments, experienced art collectors, and simply those looking to add a touch of beauty and color to their home.
